- When you purchase a brand-new guitar, it is strongly suggested not to discard its plastic wrap. You may keep the plastic wrap in a box or guitar case. The plastic wrap can be utilized to cover the guitar from rain when you play the guitar in open place.
- Do not put your acoustic guitar on the floor or moist space, because it will affect the sound quality. If you have a silica gel, you may put it into the guitar body. It is very useful to decrease moist. Silica gel is also available in chemical stores.
- Replace the strings gradually and use the high quality ones, in order to maintain the sound quality of the guitar. Use proper strings (nylon strings) for classic guitar. Sometimes we find classic guitar using folk guitar strings. Certainly, this not suggested because it can cause certain damage on the guitar.
- Do not attempt to replace the strings whenever you will conduct a concert. Although you have tuned them, it would not be stable, so that the note will change when you play the guitar. Replace the strings a week before conducting a concert. In that period, you need to check and tune them frequently. It is suggested not to discard the old strings. In case of there is any broken string; you may utilize them, as a back-up string due to their flexibility has been stable.

- Use soft fabric to clean the guitar. Also, use cleaner liquid for guitar. A high quality and well-treated guitar is very invaluable.
- For classic guitar players, it is suggested to shape-oval their right finger nails with two-millimeter length, while the left ones need to be kept neat. If you find it is uncomfortable after cutting fingernails, you may use a soft fig tree. It is better for you if you do not play basketball or become a goalkeeper too much because it can affect your finger flexibility.
- If you conduct many concerts, it would be better to bring back-up guitar, to prevent any unwanted incident.
- Playing a bent guitar would be very inconvenient. To recognize whether a guitar neck is bent or not, press the sixth string in the 1st and 12th fret. Then, check whether the string sticks to its 12 frets (from 1st to 12th fret). If not, then the guitar is bent. You can fix the guitar by using the “adjustment” on the guitar. Tighten the adjustment bolt by using “L wrench” properly. Unfortunately, not all guitars, especially classic type have adjustment tool.
